  I am not one to leave reviews, but I am doing so because I want to publicly thank Ms. Nicole Brooker for everything she has done for my son and I. When my son and I came to Ms. Brooker we were under so many medications and we didn’t know why. I myself suffer from bipolar disorder and my son who is 12 years old is Autistic. The first thing Nicole did was ask me questions, then told me what each medication was used for. She didn’t jump to any conclusion, and also recommended activities for my son and me. She recommended the gym for me. She heard the way I spoke and expressed myself, and how I expressed myself about my children. I love to see how she doesn’t HEAR me, SHE LISTENS!!! She also heard ALL my concerns with my son!!! The picking, the hitting, the focus, and so on. And instead of her doping him and me up on medication she slowly started to take off some of them. She paid attention to every detail, even my heart condition! Yes, my blood pressure!
  Omg, I had found a mental health provided who listens and doesn’t just give me medication to shut me and my son up! She does sit across from you from a desk but trust me you forget that desk is even there because she talks to you like a friend!
  It’s nice to have a doctor who I can count on and I can tell her when something isn’t working, and she changes it, or she tells me if I don’t need it (whether it be medicine related or not). Nicole doesn’t give me medicine just to give me medicine. Nicole is always listening and giving me great advice. If I can’t sleep she won’t jump and give me a sleeping aid, she’ll ask what’s going on and suggest things like walks before bed, apps (games) for anxiety, writing, etc. She is more than just a Doctor who writes a prescription she’s like family to me.
  My son was a boy when we started to see Nicole and now is about to be a teenager in January and he talks to Nicole about EVERYTHING! This was a child who had trouble communicating and had sensory problems, had ingrown toenails every other month because of picking, and couldn’t focus in school. My son was on 5 different medications before meeting Nicole and was overweight, he had problems due to side effects of the medications he was on. Now my son can communicate (enough to where he is not made fun of in middle school), he sleeps all through the night, and he is even making friends in school (got his first call from a friend in school this past weekend). I’m so proud of my baby boy.
  As for me I am no longer living with my mom as I was doing before, I was dependent thinking I could never move out because I was paranoid. I am now married, I now have 6 kids, don’t freak lol I didn’t have 3 more babies lol. My husband has 3 kids of his own. I bought my own house, we run a business together, and I even help advocate for other families with children with Autism.
  And I’m not saying this is ALL because if Nicole Brooker, but is does have A LOT to do with her. She opened my eyes when they were shut, and she also took the haze out of my life. Medication management is very important in mental illness and if we don’t have GOOD medication management we can have really really good HIGHS or really really BAD lows. And those depend on our providers and my provider Nicole Brooker is managing my and my son’s medication darn good. So good that my step-son who is 17 years old and has Autism is soon to start seeing her and so is my son who is 7 years old and has Autism and ADHD. And I don’t want to forget the staff at Cornerstone, they are awesome!!!! They don’t see you as a chart number at this practice, they know you.
  I will forever be grateful with Ms. Nicole Brooker and everything she has done for me and my son. And, forever be grateful that she doesn’t give out medication like candy!!!!!I will continue to go here as long as Nicole Brooker is a provider here…
