  Although the work in the yard was fine. They did work in July of 2013 and held the check until July of 2017. Prompt bookkeeping on their end would save customers the headache of looking through old checks and wondering if a company takes four years to cash a check is the best choice. No one contacted us to ask for an updated check, it was a surprise to say the least. We are happy to pay for the work completed so a little bit of notice would have been nice. We understand that checks can get misplaced and such, again, some communication with the customer is not too much to ask.
